Phil brings international experience to Central Park, having been born in England and having spent his formative tennis years in New Zealand. In 1988 he was an All-American at Whitman College, and was nationally ranked in both singles (#6) and doubles. A member of USTA and USPTA, Phil has been especially active in the Central Park junior tennis programs since joining the staff full-time in 1988.

Kathryn grew up playing tennis in East Lansing, Michigan. She began her tennis career at Lewis and Clark College. After transfering back to her home town her junior year she played for Michigan State Univiersity, both singles and doubles. Kathryn has coached in Michigan, California and Washington. She has been at Central Park Tennis Club since 2006, where she has specialized in individual, group and junior team lessons. She has been coaching tennis since 1991, she is active in USTA and has been a certified USPTA Professional since 2001. Kathryn's on court hours are limited, please email her for availability.

Chad Smith grew up on Bainbridge Island and competed across Pacific Northwest. Coach Chad has been teaching tennis for over 20 years and has been certified as an elite professional by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) for almost as long. After college he found his passion sharing his love of the game with others. He spent 11 years coaching at Woodinville Sports Club before joining Central Park Tennis Club and has enjoyed being part of the coaching team for the past 9 years. Chad has been a board member of the USPTA PNW for the past 10 years, working his way to President in 2018. Coach Chad enjoys working with all ages and abilities. Lisa Moldrem, 14 years as head coach of the University of Washington women's tennis team, brings a local knowledge to Central Park along with her formidable playing and coaching talents. She coached the Husky women to nine Pac-10 Northern Division titles and was herself ranked #1 nationally for both Women’s Open Doubles and Mixed Open Doubles in the USPTA. Lisa has been coaching at Central Park since 1997 where she has led numerous teams to sectionals, playoffs and nationals.

Jeff grew up in the Pacific Northwest. As a youth, he was a nationally ranked junior player as well as a four time Washington State singles champion. He continued his education at the University of Washington and was a member of the Division 1 tennis team. Jeff is a fifteen year member of the USPTA as well as a USTA certified high performance coach. More recently, Jeff has coached at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in California as well as clubs throughout the Seattle area. Jeff teaches all levels of adult and junior players at Central Park.

Mark grew up in the Seattle area playing tennis from a young age. He was a top ranked junior in the Pacific Northwest region up until he went to college on a tennis scholarship. He attended Seattle University 2008-2012 where he played for the Men's D1 Tennis Team and was named MVP 2010-2011 and Team Captain 2011-2012. He recorded over 50 wins during his time there and was a starter in singles and doubles all four years. Mark's teaching career started when he was fifteen and would help his coach Scott Shogreen teach the younger kids after his practice was over. Ever since then he developed a passion for teaching and has coached at multiple clubs in the area including Bellevue Tennis Academy, Redmond Tennis Club and most recently Woodinville Sports Club. He's taught a wide range of junior and adult levels and has a passion to coach everyone who wants to learn the game of tennis! He married a former CPTC member Marie Demerath and they have a little girl named Anastacia who looks forward to meeting all the members.

Blakeley grew up playing tennis in Atlanta, GA where she was top ranked at the state, sectional, & national level. She receieved a full athletic scholarship to play Division 1 tennis at Appalachian State University where she started all four years in singles & doubles, while also serving as team captain for two of those years. She is USPTR certified & has been coaching for over ten years throughout the South & PNW.
Blakeley truly loves working with players of all ages & abilites. She is passionate about CPTC & all programming it has to offer - from the junior program to the adult USTA teams & clinics.

Nick comes to CPTC after coaching at ETC and prior to that he held a coaching position with the Gonzaga University Varsity Men’s Tennis team. During Nick’s time at Gonzaga, the program reached an all-time high of #62 in the NCAA Division I rankings. Over the summer Nick coached multiple elite competitors including Boise State’s #1 singles player.
As a player, Kamisar had a highly successful two-year career at Gonzaga from 2013-2015 after transferring from the University of Washington, where he competed his first two years (as a starter in singles). At Gonzaga, Kamisar competed mostly at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions and earned All-WCC honorable mention for both singles and doubles play.In professional competition, Kamisar defeated an ATP-ranked player who was a then-current member of the Singapore National Davis Cup Team at the July 2015 Vancouver BC Futures tournament, one of three wins for Kamisar in route to qualifying for the main draw. Nick was the doubles champion of the 2016 Washington State Open, and in April 2019, he won the RBC Wealth Management Houston Open.
Nick enjoys working with players of all ages & abilites. He is dedicated to teaching the game to those that want to learn and improve.
